The exped air pillows are a super light super small product which takes away any excuse to not bring a pillow on your tour. This pillow works perfectly for me. While not very comfortable or plush we did like one of the pillow s support design features. They are both identical in size and shape.

The only knock that i can give these pillows is that they no longer come with the repair kit. Exped has come up with a solution with its exped ultralight air pillow which is a perfect companion no matter how far you re from home. Once blown up both pillows look the same. Well the exped air pillow manages to take care of both of these needs for you as it is a super small and super light inflatable air pillow.

I know it s difficult to buy a product unless you have complete information on it. Needed a pillow for bike touring and backpacking and exped seemed the way to go. If you have wider shoulders i would suggest the red exped air pillow size. If you are looking for good sleep outdoors and who isn t the exped air pillow ul is very light and comfortable.

Mine weighs 50 5gm. I bought the ul pillow over the regular model for the reduction in packed sized not weight. It has a soft surface which maximizes comfort and ensures that you enjoy a sound sleep on your trips. As the name suggests it is extremely light in weight and can be compressed almost to the size of a wallet.

One end of the air ul inflates higher than the other giving it a little more versatility for back and side sleepers. The ul appears to be 1 2 to 1 3 the packed volume of the regular model. I have one of their down mats. Most pillows aren t thick enough to use as a side sleeper.

Exped down pillow review. Being inflatable the airpillow ul is a very firm pillow. It works well for side sleepers and personally i feel it is the best pillow for side sleepers. Most of our testers found it uncomfortable when completely inflated.
